She is a well-designed steel sailboat that offers the ultimate margin of safety for offshore world cruising.  Professionally designed and built by Waterline Yachts of Sidney, British Columbia, Canada, Waterline vessels are distinctive and highly regarded as some of the finest long-distance cruising sailboats in the world. She is a world cruiser with electrical systems, tankage, comfort and storage for extended periods away from port. Her long/deep fin keel with bulb ballast and partial skeg-hung semi-balanced rudder offer a wonderful balance of speed, responsiveness and comfortable motion. While steel boats are sometimes faulted for being heavy, TRUE LOVE takes advantage of steel's strengths while keeping structural weight to a minimum. Impact resistance and structural integrity are absolute. The center of gravity is kept low to maximize righting moments by placing tanks, engine, batteries, and generator low on the waterline The lead ballast is in a bulb appendage all the way at the keel bottom and the diesel tank is in the fin cavity.

A truly unique feature of TRUE LOVE is her integrated pilothouse offering 360 degree views. The pilothouse can be fully enclosed or opened to the cockpit with power aft windows that drop down at the touch of a switch  and a companionway door that recesses into a self draining pocket. This creates an excellent place for round-the-clock passage making as well as enjoyment dockside or at anchor.

The craftsmanship is impressive.  It's easy to understand why it takes over two years for a team of skilled tradesmen to construct a quality yacht like TRUE LOVE.   She is equipped with quality systems and conveniences including a SidePower 24V Bow Thruster System, Leisurefurl in-boom roller furling system, Cruising Arch with solar array, Northern Lights Generator, Webasto hydronic diesel heating system with 5 zones and Everhot instant hot water feature, Spectra Santa Cruz 18 gph Watermaker and a Spendide washer/dryer.

The Standing Rigging on TRUE LOVE was replaced in 2020 and maintenance of all systems is impeccable.

TRUE LOVE was hauled and bottom painted at Svendsen's Bay Marine Boatyard in October 2023. All new AGM batteries (14 Total) were installed by the boatyard at that time.
